This project falls within the movement that Joan Fontcuberta termed Post-Photography in 2011. It was created using images found online—specifically obtained from Google Street View—and stored via screenshots. These images were then selected, edited, and processed to give them new meaning.
Each image in the Endless Road: Sides series shows a never-ending, solitary road dividing what appears to be an ordinary landscape. However, a closer look reveals surprising anomalies: a desert on one side and farmland on the other? A snowy tundra facing a dense forest? Is it a result of climate change? Is it something we can see now or something we may never see?
