Emerging from the intentions and uses of both the image creator and the subject, meanings oscillate between emotional mirrors and multiple social, political, economic, and cultural interpretations. This interplay defines the discourse of each of my photographic projects, conceived as exploratory series. In all of them, however, the psychological aspect of portraiture takes a privileged place, sometimes questioning the traditional principles of the genre.

Generally speaking, I am interested in processes of inquiry, of recognizing a personal territory, in which to establish appropriate systematic coordinates. At the core of this interest is the anonymous character, an inexhaustible source of resources and variables.
